cutting-edge Master of Communication in Digital Media program. The
position open is for an assistant professor or associate professor. It is
a full-time, non-tenure track position with a twelve-month service period.
The 45-credit Master of Communication in Digital Media program is designed
for mid-career professionals. It teaches students how to best use the new
tools to create engaging, relevant content and how to direct a team and do

The Communication Department at Buffalo State College seeks a tenure track
Assistant Professor in Journalism with an emphasis on Converged Media to
begin August 2007.
Essential Functions: Teach college classes in journalism, news writing,
information gathering, and/or community journalism in a cross-platform
environment, as well as departmental core courses such as writing, visual
communication, or media literacy and college-wide general education
courses; meet with and advise students; engage in academic research and in
creative and/or professional scholarship; engage in service to the
