| Introduction | Journalism 222 Course Outline Completing work on time is a vital part of any journalistic endeavor. Thus, timely submission of work is important for this course. If I receive your submission of work for an assignment or an exam after the deadline indicated on the course outline, I will reduce your grade by 10 percent of the point value of that work or exam for each school day that the material is late. On the other hand, you may submit work at any time prior to the deadline. Note 1: Each deadline listed is for reception of all completed work assigned in a given section. Remember that e-mail is not always prompt. Allow time for transmission of your e-mail to me. Note 2: Some exercises will take several days for completion. Obviously, you must start working on those far enough ahead of the deadline to allow time to monitor listservs or whatever the exercise requires. A good approach is to review the course outline at the beginning of the course. Note when assignments will be due. Then determine how far ahead you need to begin work on each assignment in order to complete it on time. Because of the variations in schedules between the quarter calendar at Louisiana Tech and the semester calendar at LSUS, I have provided a different course outline for each campus.
